Due to present-day lifestyle changes and personal hygiene, one sees many uterus-related health issues in women. Among these, cervical cancer is the most responsible in female mortality. According to recent studies, one woman in India dies every 7 minutes due to cancer of the cervix. It is possible to diagnose cervical cancer 10-15 years prior to its occurrence due to cell changes in cervix wall by ❝pap smear screening❞.
Ignorance regarding the screening is the only reason for the diagnosis to be overlooked. Screenings done in periodical intervals, i.e., once in 2 years upto 70 years after a woman’s marriage will certainly help to diagnose and completely treat cervical cancer.
